Currently looking at WTI on daily chart
good risk and rewards ratio.
I am going to short and checking the 4H and 1H to check the momentum before placing the trade.

Depreciation

I am happy that i managed to understand why depreciation is a return of capital (note this is not a return on capital). Please do tell if you disagree.

1. Why depreciation is a return of capital?
1. Depreciation helps to reduce the profit you received, thus less taxed on the net income
2. This helps to decrease the value investment you have put in the plants and equipments.
3. This is subtle but interesting

Funny experience

A colleague of mine (she) was unable to peel her own banana. She was asking others around to help her to peel it off. what the??

CABCHARGE (CAB)

I sold my CAB yesterday.

Reason:
1. The surcharge becomes increasingly "doubtful"
2. The original owners reduced their positions recently. This tells me that the owners interest in the company may not be as strong as it used to be. This violates what I expected.
3. I want to see what will happen on the surcharge that imposed by RBA. The surcharge is definitely has a huge impact on CAB's revenue as per my calculation. It is like a leverage/margin - pretty shocking.


NOTE:
I will definitely go in again once the "environment" settles and CAB fits to my investment criteria.
